Can you believe that fall is just around the corner and Halloween is soon to follow? This year I’m hosting an adult Halloween party and I want it to be festive and fun. One way to have a party raise the roof, is tasty cocktails. I’ve been searching the internet for scary cocktails and many of them looks amazing. There’s only one problem… I don’t have an extensive bar and I would need to purchase several varieties of liquors to create many of those drinks. Who has time or money for that? Not this single mom.
What should I do? I took the liquor I already had and made them festive. Take a look below to see how I did it!
HALLOWEEN GLASSES: I love to shop at my local Dollar Tree and I have wine glasses for each holiday. I decided to purchase a few more to use for my cocktails and the best part, each glass is only one dollar! HINT: You can give the glasses to your guests to take home as a party gifts.
WINDOW DECALS: If you do not want to purchase new glasses and want to use your own you have home, try window decals. I get these at my local Dollar Tree as well and it so easy to place them on the glass to give a little holiday flare. The best thing, you can remove, wash and use again!
PARTY FAVORS: Go to your local Dollar Tree and pick up a few party favors. I picked up some eyeballs that will fit perfectly on the neck of each wine glass. I picked up some spider, skull and bat rings to use as well.
FOOD COLORING: Take red food coloring and drip down the inside of the glass to look like blood running down. TIP: Make whatever drink you like and call it PSYCHO. If you are using a clear liquor, you can add orange food color to change the look.
FESTIVE CANDIES: Use candies to spruce up your drink. Try candy worms or gummy brains on the bottom of a drink. I used orange and black licorice, cut the ends off and used as straws.
I hope you enjoy these inexpensive ideas this Halloween. Do you have any cool ideas? Please comment and send us a picture.
